Plastics – Materials for tomorrow and the age of lightweight design
Plastics-based components will play an increasingly important role in current and future automotive technology. We use these extremely light, robust materials primarily in Motor systems. With their low weight, plastics reduce fuel consumption and, as a result, lower CO2 emissions in line with legislation. We use plastic pellets in our component production processes, as well as prefabricated plastic components. We use hybrid metal and plastic materials in our Motor.
